Hello! I’m so stoked you’re thinking about joining us at Baby Sensory classes. You will become part of our wider Baby Sensory whanau - a place where we learn, laugh and grow as parents together.
Prior to taking over Baby Sensory Manawatu, I taught New Entrants (5 year olds) full time for 3 years, then attended drama school to nurture a deep love of the arts I’ve had since I was a child myself. The opportunity to throw myself into the Baby Sensory world was too good to pass up - I get to combine my love for nurturing children’s development with my creative and expressive side, and call it my ‘work’. How lucky am I?
I am a step-mum of two, and while I didn’t grow these babies in my belly, I grew them in my heart. Our youngest rascal has just turned 2 years old and he keeps us on our toes! When I first became a parent, the most valuable thing I did was to attend a baby class - a safe, welcoming space. This is why I am so passionate about creating the same nurturing environment not just for our babies, but for you grown ups too.
Mums, dads, or any other caregivers are very welcome at our classes. Our core values are inclusivity, empowerment, and joy.
